Belichick: Once A Cheater Always A Cheater?

Question by X-Factor: Belichick: Once A Cheater Always A Cheater?
Once a cheater is a cheater. Agree or disagree?

I know that all the Pats fans going to say I’m a hater. I’m not. I’m asking a legit question about a guy who got caught cheating.

I had a friend in college that got caught cheating twice. I thought he learned his lesson instead he just learned how to be a better cheater. I decided to distance myself from him for this reason. I didn’t like it. He was a great friend otherwise.

Now Bill Belichick got caught cheating. I don’t believe it was his first time. I’m sure it’s not going to be his last. People just don’t change. Now it’s possible that he didn’t cheat in any of the 15 games after the 1st one. It’s also possible that he just got better at cheating and just wasn’t caught. I know you guys are tired of this but I’m posting it anyway.
Greased Guy, try telling your girlfriend after she caught you cheating. “I didn’t know I was cheating” or telling the cop who caught you stealing “I didn’t know I was stealing”.

Wow the greased up gay dude should add a speech impediment to his list. That was painful to read. Anyway obviouly he will change his ways the same way he did from week 2 of the season, every team tapes it just so happened that Bill B did it from the sidelines which isn’t allowed.

  4. The Audacity of Hope is Coming!! says:

yes he is a cheater. Once a cheater always a cheater.

  5. Matt E says:

yea but he wont get fired. if any other coach got caught cheating they would have been suspended but not the high and mighty belichick. goodell should have cracked down on him and set him as an example

  6. Doug D says:

Why else would the information come out?………
They are cheaters and deserve to be beat on…
I loved the Super Bowl. See what happens when Brady doesnt have 10 sec to throw the ball.
I lost a lot of respect for the Pats…..they almost had me convinced that they were the best ever….wow
Oh well…they are from Boston so its no surprise.
    GO YANKS!!!!!

Try reserving judgement, until all the facts are in.

    “Innocent until proven guilty”

We’ve only seen part of the facts.

If bellichick is a cheater, so is EVERY single other nfl coach out there…..EVERY SPORT has and does things that are against the rules….
…what is pathetic here is, the fact that so many ignorant wanna be true sports fans…have no clue in all the b.s..that they talk and try to sound like they know what theyre speaking of. I dont think he cheated at all, ..so someone taped something during a game at the beginning of the season? ..big f…deal. Like that whole incident had any bearing on any one of the games through out the whole season, Some people are so stupid. I’d like to see someone list , here, or anywhere, …FACTS, of how or what the pats did, …affected any of their games or any one of any other teams games this entire season. also, ..why are people still wasting time on such b.s…? its ridiculous…..it was 8 months ago….3 months ago…and today.

i think that every team in the NFL is cheating in their own way, because if your not cheating your not trying.

Don’t girls always say once a cheater always a cheater? Just like the other old saying Burn me once shame on you, burn me twice shame on me. Well it isn’t his first time according to someone who worked with the Browns while he was their coach. He used to send guys out during practice without their names or numbers on their jerseys. He said it was so the media wouldn’t be able to report on who was doing how. According to this former employee it was because he had guys out there who WEREN’T on the roster, in other words he was CHEATING. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if that was the real reason. I think in his case all that will change is he will get better at it, and find other ways to hide it. I will accept that he probably isn’t using a camera anymore.

Considering that HE ADMITTED he has been taping the other team’s signals SINCE HE BECAME N.E.’s head coach according to Goodell what more do we need to wait for? Did he deny Goodell’s claim? Nope. He did release an “apology” so if he didn’t correct Goodell that to me says it is true.

  12. kknumber8 says:

AGREE COMPLETELY in this case. I say in this case because bellicheat….i mean bellicheck wouldve never admitted to anything if it wasnt for him getting caught. on top of that he still didnt think it was a violation and only apologized because there was so much evidenve that piled up against him. For him to cheat for seven years and to think he didnt know it was cheating is ludacris. Once a cheater, always a cheater!

  13. kimberoceanheart says:

so far these ar allegations, which mean they still have to be proved.
I’m on the fence. I want to believe he is innocent, but the facts are beginning to stack against him.
I am going to wait till all the facts are in, before making any judgment, simply because this is America and that’s the way we do things here.
also, he was caught at least once, and he paid dearly for it
I’m confident it didn’t happen again the whole season.
patriots are a good team, its time everyone recognize that
    and move on.

  14. Will says:

People generally don’t change. They have patterns of behavior that they might temporarily stop doing, when the spotlight is on it, but once nobody is monitoring them, they go back to their regular patterns.

So, yes. Odds are that Bill Belichick will stop cheating for a little while, but then find a more sophisticated way to cheat after he feels people have stopped monitoring him.
