Is lack of sex due to a cheating partner?

Question by Austin: Is lack of sex due to a cheating partner?
We used to have sex a lot (at least 4 times a week or more) when we first got together. After the first 6 months it fell to about 3 times a week at most. Now after a year it is maybe once a week or nothing at all. This is not by my choice I try to make a move, but get turned down. Do you suspect cheating or maybe just sexual boredom with the relationship? What can I do?

My boyfriend and I were just talking about this today. When a relationship is new, it’s still exciting and crazy and you can have sex three times in a day and still feel something later. Then after a while the newness wears off and it just doesn’t happen as much. It’s not because you don’t like each other or don’t get horny or anything, it’s just not on your mind quite as much… if she’s acting strange in other ways then I’d suggest having a heart-to-heart about your relationship. If not, I’d just nicely let her know that you have sexual needs, and even a need for the emotional connection it brings (Trust me, super important to girls), and what can you do to help her want to meet them?

If you word in a way that isn’t accusing or harsh, she’ll probably be a LOT more open for discussion.

What do you think? Answer below!.

sometimes it’s because you are so comfortable with the person, and the “new spark” has sort of faded. Now you guys are more official, and she might just not want to “just” have sex as much…
on the other hand you guys only did it 4x a week! Maybe there is someone else!
