Question by chippewa_goddess: My friend doesn’t call anymore?
I had a friend for 6 yrs, we were pregnant with out babies together and had many good times.
Just recently her man confided in me that he was cheating on her; i kept it a secret in order to gain some more information out of him (like a name) so when the time came, i would be able to answer all her questions. She eventually found out – cause I opened my big mouth and told her that her man was indeed cheating on her and had been for 3mths ( i didn’ know this he told me how long it had been going on) .. so anyway.. i’ve done some other things that i’m not proud of to catch this guy as a cheater and he fell for the bait, but since then, they are back together, he phoned my home and told me to lose the number, I have not heard from her at all in a few weeks, I’m not sure if she feels the same way (even though I did her a favour buy ratting out her cheating man); but I feel that she doesn’t want to be friends anymore even though he was the one to call and not her…

You did her no favors by “ratting out” her husband. You should have stayed out of it completely. She probably will never call you again since obviously her and her husband are working through their problems and you will be a constant reminder of the “bad” times. I suggest you do as her husband requested and loose their number, you’ve already lost the friendship.

she loves him and doesn’t want to make him mad but probably still loves you as a friend misses you dearly. but depending on what you did that you aren’t proud of might have made her mad and she might throw it in your face. but again because she loves him and doesn’t want to make him mad. which probably means he hurts her. but she will protect him forever. but i’m sure that she misses you and still loves you girl. but he told her not to talk to you anymore. and once a cheat ALWAYS a cheat. i’m very sorry for losing a friend.
Definitely sounds like she chose her man over you. Some girls are just like that. I understand your side but maybe you should have told her sooner and she would agree to having you spy.
